Robert Mowery Sprouse

Robert "Bob" Mowery Sprouse, age 90, passed away Friday, June 22, 2018. Bob was born on July 15, 1927 in Lancaster, Ohio to the late W. Lloyd and Helen M. Sprouse. Bob was a graduate of The Ohio State University. He was a WW11 Navy veteran and a member of the Pickaway Lodge #23 in Circleville, Ohio for 65 years. He and his wife were members of Riverside United Methodist Church for over 60 years. Bob was employed by WBNS-TV for 20 years as a National Sales Manager before becoming an Investment Broker with The Ohio Company, where he retired. Bob and Pat, his loving wife of 66 years, lived most of their married life in Upper Arlington, Ohio before retiring to Hilliard, Ohio. Bob cherished his family life and enjoyed socializing with his many friends and acquaintances. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife, Patricia "Pat" Johnson Sprouse; children, Robert J. (Trisha) Sprouse, James K. (Josie) Sprouse, Cynthia L. (Frank) Ross, Teri A. Sprouse, and Pamela J. Sprouse; grandchildren, Kristen (Jeremy), Justin, Lauren (Ben), Adam, Rebecca, Jenna, Daniel, Frank (Emily), Katherine (Kirk), and Joseph; Twelve great-grandchildren and Two great-great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends from 4-7pm on Monday, June 25, 2018 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Road, Upper Arlington, Ohio 43221. A funeral service will be held at 1pm on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger Chapel, 151 East Main Street, Circleville, Ohio 43113.
