Robert (Bob) Michael Paschke, 76, of Canal Winchester, Ohio, passed away on October 1, 2024, after a sudden illness. Born in Chicago, Illinois on June 14, 1948, he was the son of the late Frank and Anne (Vasko) Paschke.
Bob was a Senior Professor at DeVry University for over 40 years. He loved teaching and it was evident, as his students rated him as one of the top professors year after year. He loved his family and friends fiercely and often showed this love with his funny sense of humor and sarcasm. When situations were difficult, he would remind his kids that “Paschkes are tough”. Something he lived out until the very end.
Bob will be forever cherished by his wife, Nancy Barrett Paschke of Canal Winchester, Ohio, son Jesse (Tasia) Paschke of Canal Winchester, Ohio, son Joshua (Leigh) Paschke of Hendersonville, North Carolina, daughter Amber Paschke of Galena, Ohio, brother William (Barbara) Paschke of Winfield, Illinois, step-son Doug (Stacy) Barrett of Huntington Beach California and Jeff (Rory) Barrett of San Clemente California, proud grandfather of Hayden, Abby and Gabe Paschke of Canal Winchester, Ohio, Eli, Ollie and Ruby Paschke of Hendersonville, North Carolina, and Austin and Liam of Huntington Beach, California, and Brady, Cayson and Camden of San Clemente, California.
In lieu of flowers, we suggest making donations in Bob’s memory to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital (https://www.stjude.org/) or the Wounded Warrior Project (https://support.woundedwarriorproject.org/). Thank you.
