Robert Lee Fausnaugh

Robert L. "Bob" Fausnaugh, age 82 of Circleville, a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at 3:37 pm at Genesis Health Center in Circleville, OH after a long battle with Alzheimer's. He was born April 25, 1936 in Scioto Twp. to the late Glen H. and Lucy B. (Grabill) Fausnaugh. He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and the Pickaway County Senior Center. Bob graduated from Jackson Twp. High School in 1954. He retired from General Motors after 42 years of service. Along with his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his sister-in-law Helen Fausnaugh. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Marilyn M. (Eitel) Fausnaugh. They were married March 25, 1956 in Trinity Lutheran Church Circleville, OH by Reverend Carl Zehner. Also survived by children, Steven L. (Lonnell) Fausnaugh of Janesville, WI and Lisa A. McNairy of Circleville, OH; grandchildren, Robert (Jessie) Fausnaugh, Heath (Keyla) Fausnaugh, Matt (Brittani) McNairy, Kristi (J.J.) Moore, Ronnie (Keeley) Wineka, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Robert, Jackson, Ava, Alia, Myah, and Leah Fausnaugh, Kaila and Addison Wineka; brother, James A. Fausnaugh; sisters, Beulah (Robert) Temple and Joann (Richard) Bachman. Family will receive friends Thursday, May 3 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger 151 E. Main Street where a funeral service will be held Friday, May 4 at 2:00 pm with visitation from 1-2 pm. The Reverend Dr. Gerhard Kraus will officiate. Burial to follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens, Circleville. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church and the Pickaway County Senior Center.
