Robert Michael "Mike" Chappelear, age 77, of Obetz, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2022. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on May 30, 1944 to the late Freddie and Louise Chappelear. He was a graduate of Hamilton Township High School. Mike was a member of Teamsters Local #284, and retired from Anderson Concrete after many years of dedicated service. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Dutch Chappelear; and sister, Sheila Henderson. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Cora Chappelear; children, Ronda Bullock, and Freddie Chappelear; grandchildren, Shontae Michelle (Chad Eastham) Bullock, Hannah Nicole Chappelear, Shane Patrick Rumer, and Aiden Michael Chappelear; great granddaughter, Aryanna Michelle Eastham; and many nieces and nephews. Mike enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting, and watching The OSU Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns. Family will receive friends on Thursday, February 3, 2022 from 4-7PM at HEART AND HOPE BY SCHOEDINGER, 3030 West Broad St. Columbus, Ohio 43204 where funeral service will be held on Friday, February 4, 2022 at 10:00AM.
