Bob was born in Marion, Ohio, and lived the first 83 years of life in Ohio until moving to Missouri to be close to his daughter Teresa and 4 grandchildren.
Bob was a 1956 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy. Bob owned Spangs Pharmacy in the Columbus Hilltop neighborhood operating the independent pharmacy from 1965 until its closing in 1994. His customers were faithful and Bob was known for his friendly customer service and free delivery.
Bob was a huge Ohio State Buckeyes fan and longtime football season ticket holder. Bob was a trustee at New Horizons United Methodist Church where he organized Red Cross Blood Drives and was active at Crossroads UMC serving at the free community dinners.
Bob is survived by his daughters Sheryl Snow [Doug McPeek] and Teresa [Ben] Voeller; grandchildren Ashley [Isaac] Van Doren, Tony Voeller ,Travis Voeller,
Kyle [Mayah] Voeller; great-granddaughter Harper Voeller and three nieces and three nephews.
Bob is also survived by extended family from his second marriage Judy Dennis, and Judy Slavens. He was preceded in death by first wife Carolyn Snow, and second wife Hazel Snow, 3 brothers, 2 nephews and a niece.
Visitation will be Monday, July 8, 2024 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services by Schoedinger Hilltop Chapel, 3030 W. Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43204 where funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 followed by interment at Walnut Hill Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the Columbus Red Cross Blood Donation Center.
