Bob was born in Columbus Ohio, on February 11, 1954 to loving parents Richard W. Chrisman and Martha E. Chrisman. A graduate of Upper Arlington High School and Ohio Dominican University, Bob involved himself in sports (Soccer, Baseball) and Theater. He earned a degree in history and joined the Ohio Historical Museum upon graduation. For the last 15 years he was employed by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services.
An avid amateur astronomer, Bob also loved the beach (Clearwater, Fla.), hiking in the Hocking Hills, and driving his beloved Jeep Safari. He embraced his Chrisman/Hysell Clans and leaves to cherish his memory, his dear sisters Elizabeth (Paul) Hysell and Jan (Gary) Katynski, and adored brother Scott (Cheri) Chrisman. Preceding him in passing are his parents and his loving Aunt Katherine Sinclair.
Bob loved his niece and nephews Britt (Justin) Reeves, Jeffery Katynski, Derek (Brenna) Chrisman, Noah (Heather) Chrisman, and Devon Chrisman; great niece and nephew Ainsley and Grayson Reeves with all his heart. He will always be remembered with affection by all his Chrisman cousins, near and far.
Generous of spirit, he supported many charities and animal care causes which his family encourages his friends to support in any manner they wish.
As gentle as he was, Bob slipped away with his face to the sun and the spring breeze in his hair. We will miss him forever.
