Rick V. Thompson

28th, 1964 to Tyrone and Sarah Thompson in Columbus, Ohio. He served in the United States

Navy stationed in Alameda, California on the USS California for four years active duty, as well

as the National Reserves for sixteen years. He retired after a total of 20 years of service for his

country. In his hometown of Columbus, Ohio, he became a police officer, serving his community

for 30 years. Being a police officer was his passion and served to the best of his ability.

Rick is survived by his wife, Toni Thompson and daughter, Mackenzie Thompson.

He is survived by his mother Sarah Thompson and step father Ron Bottagale. Children:

Corey (Sarah) Thompson, Joel (Ali) Thompson, and Tyler (Amber) Thompson. Grandchildren:

Aiden, Adalynn, Rowen, Julian, Evelyn and grandchild due in July. Siblings: (twin sister) Tonya

Beaver, Jody Weldon, and Lance Thompson. Nieces: Heaven Coleman, Honesty Weldon, and

Daisah Beaver. Nephews: Darellee Beaver and Dillion Beaver. He is survived by his great

uncle Skip, Randy (Linda) Meyers and many cousins.

Preceded in death by his father Tyrone Thompson and sister Tamara Thompson. As well as his grandparents George (Connie) Futerer and Robert (Ruth) Meyers. He will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts.
