Richard G. Payne passed away Wednesday July 6, 2016 at Kobacker House. Richard is preceded in death by his loving wife of over 60 years, Jean Payne. Richard is survived by his three sons; John (Ceci) Payne, Don (Kim) Payne, and Mark (Karen) Payne and their families. Richard served his county in World War II. He achieved a Mechanical Engineering Degree from The Ohio State University. He was a four year letter winner at OSU in wrestling. He worked for over 38 years at Rockwell International. Richard is gone but not forgotten. Visitation and services will be held at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL Saturday from 12pm-1pm with internment to follow at Kingwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Kobacker House and Shriner's Children's Hospital.
