Raymond James Roy

Raymond James Roy, age 86 of Columbus, passed away Saturday, March 30, 2013. Raymond was born and raised in Columbus, son of the late Norman and Anna Roy. Also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Glenna and brothers, Norman A. and Clarence Roy. Raymond was a proud U.S. Army, WWII Veteran and retired from American Electric Power Co. Raymond was a quiet man who was kind and considerate of others. He enjoyed watching sports and reading westerns. Most of all however, Raymond loved spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his children, Pam (John) Wilson and Michael (Brenda) Roy; grandchildren, Paul (Heather) Garling, Jennifer (Paul) Wiest, David Garling, Amy (Eddie) Blackburn, and Matt (Aubrey) Roy; 8 great grandchildren; and many other extended family members and dear friends.
