Raymond S. Bugno, 94, of Upper Arlington, fell asleep peacefully in his chair at home and died due to complications from pneumonia on Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2016. He was beloved by many and will be greatly missed. A Columbus native, BUCKEYE Ray served honorably in the Army Air Corps in WWII and earned many honors throughout his life, including the OSU Distinguished Service Award. He dedicated 48 years of service to The Ohio State University, where he graduated, played golf and was known as Mr. OSURF. Raymond was preceded in death by wife, Audree Bugno; parents John and Maria Bugno; brother Joe Bugno; sister Nellie Carroll. He is survived by sons Thomas and Stephen Bugno; daughter Susan Bugno Lauby; grandchildren Lucas and Josie Bugno. Friends may call from 4:00-7:00pm on Friday, Jan. 8, 2016 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd, where funeral service will be held 9:30am Saturday, Jan. 9, 2016.
