Ralph D Rouse

Ralph D. Rouse, age 97, of Pickerington, died Thursday, November 24, 2022 at Carroll Place in Carroll, Ohio. He was born June 9, 1925 in Ironton, OH, son of the late John D. and Jennie M (Riggs) Rouse. He was a purchasing agent beginning with North American Rockwell for 15 years and retiring from the State of Ohio after 27 years of service. Ralph will be dearly missed and is survived by his daughters, Lynda (Joe) Price, Diana “DeeDee” McLoughlin and Patricia (Gregg) Elliott; beloved grandchildren, Tracy (Carol) Whatley, Jaime (Rick) Witschger, Brady (Beth) Picklesimer, Angela (Chris) Bailey and Patrick (Tina) McLoughlin; great grandchildren, Lauren (CJ) Copeland, Nick and Kaitlyn Whatley, Carly and Brady Picklesimer, Addison Witschger, Payden, Paxton and Evie McLoughlin, Jack and Luke Bailey and great great grandson, Milo Copeland; other relatives and friends. Besides his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by his brother Bill Rouse; Rita, the mother of his three daughters and son-in-law, Tom Pargeon. Veteran U.S. Army serving during WW II. He was a 32nd degree Mason and 50 year member of New England Lodge # 4 F & AM and member of Aladdin Temple Shrine. Ralph was an avid aviation enthusiast and Ohio State University Buckeye football fan. He placed his daughters and his grandchildren and great-grandchildren as a priority and loved to work a good crossword puzzle. Funeral Service will be held 1:30 pm Thursday, December 1, 2022 at SCHOEDINGER EAST, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., Columbus, OH 43232 where friends may call from 12:30 pm-1:30 pm Thursday. Pastor Doug Jenkins officiating Entombment Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
