Ralph "Aussie" Myers III, 40, of Columbus, unexpectedly passed away at his residence on January 31st, 2021, due to complications from COVID-19. He was born in Lorain, OH, on December 1, 1980 to Ralph (Susan) Myers Jr. and Gayle Castro, née Muniga.
Aussie was a valued employee at Interstate Battery and was considered a beloved part of their work family for the past 12 years. He started in the Columbus office and over the years obtained roles of increasingly responsibility until he moved to be the General Manager of the Fort Wayne, IN store in January 2019. During his free time, Aussie enjoyed playing golf and going fishing. He was also an avid sports fan particularly the Cleveland Browns, the Cleveland Cavs, the Cleveland Indians and the Ohio State Buckeyes.
In addition to his parents, Aussie will be greatly missed by his sister, Trish (Dan) English; nephews, Ben and Nick English; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A public visitation will be held on Saturday, February 6th, 2021 from 9AM until 10AM at the Schoedinger Worthington Funeral Home, 6699 North High Street, Worthington OH, 43085. Funeral Services will be private.
