Phyllis was a hardworking woman who spent 30 years of service at Xerox Corporation. She worked full-time while raising four children. Phyllis was also a very faith filled woman who shared her faith with not only her family but anyone she came in contact with. She was very active and attended many Columbus parishes throughout her life. She was also active in the Catholic Charismatic Renewal.
She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She had a vibrant charismatic personality, with a great sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. She was known affectionately as 'Moo Moo', 'The Boss', and 'Crazy Aunt Phyllis'. Family was very important to Phyllis, and she centered her life around spending time with and taking care of them. She enjoyed traveling with her children, grandchildren and her sisters.
Phyllis is preceded in death by her loving husband Billy Joe Sizemore; her parents, William Whitman and Anna (Exner) Whitman; her siblings, William Whitman, Betty Newton, Robert Whitman, and Charlotte Broome.
She is survived by her children, Deborah Reida (Martin), Lisa Beaudry (Todd), Susan Fitz (Stephen), and Father David Sizemore; her grandchildren, Arianne Sizemore, Ashley Hoover (Jon), Lindsey Fitz, Brooke Chapman (Jacob), Megan Fitz, Kasey Reida, and Chase Reida; her siblings, Richard Whitman (Marji) and Shirley Bates; her great grandchildren, Billy Rezes and Todd Chapman; and many loving nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held on Friday March 11th from 2:00pm-4:00pm, 5:00pm-7:00pm with a Vigil Prayer Service at 7:00pm at SCHOEDINGER DUBLIN 5980 Perimeter Drive, Dublin, Ohio 43017. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday March 12th at 10:00am with Father David Sizemore presiding, followed by reception at ST. FRANCIS DE SALES CATHOLIC CHURCH 45 Granville Street, Newark, Ohio, 43055. Immediately following the reception, burial will be at Saint Joseph Cemetery in Columbus, Ohio.

The family wishes to thank Phyllis' daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Todd Beaudry, for opening up their home and for their attentive and loving care of mom for the last two years. They would also like to thank Dr. Lisa Mauer and Hospice of Central Ohio for their compassionate support, and Rita Hockenberry for being a regular caregiver and friend to Phyllis. Many thanks to her family and friends and fellow parishioners for their support and prayers, especially over the last year.
