She passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness. A house wife and mother, in her life she was known and liked by many and loved by two good men. Involved in Upper Arlington community politics in her earlier years and involved with community sports programs, Peggy was active in charities like TWIG, sang in the "Sweet Adelines" barbershop chorus and the choir of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Upper Arlington, and was later active in the Indianola Presbyterian Church of Columbus, OH. She was a gifted organ and accordion player. An ardent traveler and lover of life, she and her second husband Frederick W. Legg visited many exotic locations around the world. In her later years, Peggy brought a kindness to the lives of friends and family that will be remembered for many a years to come. She set the example for many of us on how to live a gracious life. Through adversity she prevailed by being positive and thankful for the relationships that helped her be strong. Her spirit was true. Predeceased by her father Fritz Schott (born 1885) and Juanita M.(Graf) Schott (born in1890) both of Hermann, MO and lifelong residents of Jefferson City, MO; first husband Clyde F. Logan; second husband Frederick Webster Legg of Upper Arlington; and sister Juanita M. (Schott) and her husband Frits of Dallas, Texas. Survived by her son Michael F. Logan of Hampstead, NH and his wife Sandy; grandson Ian M. Logan of Hampstead, NH, and grandson Corporal Alexander F. Logan of Cherry Point, NC.; and step-daughters’ Millicent Jean Legg Krebs of Granville, OH, Helen Patricia Legg Detrick and her husband John Samuel Detrick of Delaware, OH, and Ruth Elizabeth Legg Krabach of Columbus, OH; and step-granddaughter Caroline Eleanor Krabach Ferrari and husband William of Bogota, Columbia. There will be a gathering at Schoedinger Northwest Chapel, 1740 Zollinger Road, Columbus, Ohio 43221 on Monday, March 29, 2010 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. In place of flowers, donations to Hospice Home Reach would be appreciated.
