Patrick Michael Williams

Patrick Michael “Mike”, 71, was born on March 17, 1940 in Columbus, OH. Received into the arms of his Savior August 26, 2011 at OSU Medical Center. Son of the late Kenneth J. and Kathleen M. (Emmerich) Williams. Survived by daughter Jennifer (Brent) Shaner and four grandchildren, Stephen, Morgan, Kendra, and Nathaniel Shaner; sister, Patricia M. (Robert) Waddell, and Special Friend Owen Miller. He attended South High School. Well known organist at many churches, restaurants, and nightclubs throughout the area. Mike was blessed with a God given gift for music that blossomed throughout his life. He played many theatre organs around the country including at the Ohio and Palace in Columbus and the Midland theatre in Newark. His other passions besides music were gardening, crocheting, and his cats. He had a keen sense of humor and a fondness for practical jokes. He will be sadly missed by all who enjoyed his music. Memorial service will be held at 2:00pm September 10, 2011 at Epworth United Methodist Church, 5100 Karl Rd, Columbus, OH 43229, where friends will be received from 1:00pm-2:00pm. Dr. Gregory H.
