A memorial service, to celebrate the life of Norma “Jean” Dudley, 72, of Newark will be held on Thursday, November 21, 2013 at 2:30 PM in the community room at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehab, 75 McMillen Dr. Newark, with Pastor Tom Myers officiating.
Norma Jean was born in Ohio to the late Richard and Ruth (Wimer) Thompson. She passed away at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehab on November 13, 2013.
Prior to retirement, Jean worked for the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department. She enjoyed playing bingo, dancing, making ceramics and socializing with her friends.
She is survived by her children, Tammy Justice, James Dudley and Patricia Butch; brothers and sisters, Janet Aders, Rose Darling, Thomas Thompson, Charlene Cunningham, Joyce Thompson, Richard Thompson and Harry Thompson; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Dudley and one son, Robert Dudley.
