Natalie K Blazek

Natalie Katrine (Strouse) Blazek, of Grove City, Ohio passed away May 21, 2024. She shared her life with Scott Blazek until his passing in 2010. Left to cherish her memory are her parents, Jim and Shirley Strouse; her brother, Eric Strouse; her sister, Julia Moessner (Mike); her nephews, Nathan and Matthew Morabeto; and her niece, Abby Moessner.

Natalie was born in Chillicothe, Ohio, and was a Hilliard High School graduate of 1988 where she played viola in the string orchestra, was a cheerleader, and played tennis, earning the title of MVP her senior year. Her academic journey led her to graduate Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree from Akron University, where she also found a home in the Delta Gamma sorority. Throughout recent years, Natalie dedicated herself to volunteerism, lending her time and compassion to various organizations.

Those who were fortunate enough to know her, remembers Natalie as fun, outgoing and full of life! She had a way of lighting up a room and always making people laugh. She was a friend to everyone she met, and often made lifelong friends in a single conversation. Her memory will be forever held in the hearts of her family and friends alike.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00-4:00pm on Sunday, July 14, 2024 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST, 1740 Zollinger Road, Columbus, Ohio 43221, where at 3:00pm Jim Strouse will spend 10 minutes to say a few words about Natalie. Please visit www.schoedinger.com to share memories and condolences.
