Nancy C. Ritchie

Nancy C. Ritchie, age 85, of Grove City, Ohio passed away peacefully on March 28, 2014 at home. She was born December 13, 1928 in Sandusky, Ohio to the late Stuart and Esther (Russwurm) Ward; also preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Ritchie. Nancy grew up on Kelleys Island and graduated from Kelleys Island High School; there were four students in her class! She remained close with the gang at Kelleys Island. Nancy will be remembered for her holiday decorating, her strong wit, and her wonderful sense of humor. Her family was the highest priority in her life. She was the loving mother of sons Michael (Don Yarman) Ritchie and Mark (Carol) Ritchie; grandmother to Jennifer and Stephen Ritchie; sister of Ardrita (Herbert) Bickley and aunt of Cindy Jenney and Leslie Mingus. Per Nancy's wishes, a private cremation will take place with burial on her beloved Kelleys Island. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Grandview Heights Public Library, 1685 W. First Ave., Columbus, OH 43212, to be used toward the purchase of audio books.
