Nancy Barber Nelson

Nancy earned her Master’s degree and was a social worker for Nationwide Children’s Hospital most of her career. She enjoyed needlepoint and discussing social justice as well as attending Temple Israel when she was able.

In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Howard and Harriett Walser. She is survived by her loving husband, Myron Liebschutz; daughter, Sarah Liebschutz and her fiancé, Ryan Morgan; grandchildren, Aria, Jack, and soon to be baby Morgan; sisters, Susan Baringer and Kristin Nelson and her husband Brad Rule; nieces and nephews, Emily Rule, Matt Baringer, Stephanie Baringer, Jacob Baringer and Amanda and her husband Adam Gurney; cousin Sharon and her husband Bob Lipford.

An open house in Nancy's memory will take place 6-8 pm Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at Capital University Alumni House, 2361 E. Mound St. Bexley, OH 43209.

A memorial service will be held 11 am Thursday, September 12, 2024 at Temple Israel, 3100 E Broad St, Columbus, OH 43209. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Temple Israel. Arrangements entrusted to Schoedinger East.
