Nancy M. Francisco (nee Bergeron), age 70, of Columbus, went home to be with her heavenly Father surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, November 21, 2009 at Riverside Hospital. Nancy was born January 18, 1939 in Columbus to the late George and Margaret Bergeron. She was a graduate of East High School and retired from Riverside Methodist Hospital after over 20 years. She was currently employed at St. Ann’s Hospital ER. Nancy was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend. She enjoyed traveling, going to shows, watching her grandchildren’s sports, and reading mystery novels. She was also an advocate for women of domestic violence. Preceded in death by her parents, Nancy will be missed by her loving children, Mark (Mindy) Francisco, Larry (Jill) Francisco, Kenny (Lisa) Francisco, and Marci (Dave) Robinson; grandchildren, Anna Francisco, Kayli and Jack Francisco, Carly, Shane, and Brynn Francisco; step-grandchildren, Zach, Kailynne, and Riley Tangeman, and many close friends. Nancy will always be remembered by those whom she touched and continue to live by her words “Live and Let Live.” Mass of Christian Burial 10:30am Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at St. James the Less Catholic Church, 1652 Oakland Park Ave., Columbus, Fr. Scott Kramer, Celebrant. There will be a gathering in Nancy’s honor following Mass at the school cafeteria. Family will receive friends Tuesday, November 24, 2009 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm with a prayer service at 6pm at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Rd., Columbus.
