Nancy G. Chamberlain

Nancy G. Chamberlain, age 92, of Columbus, passed away Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Walter Gellette; her husband Edward (Ted) Chamberlain Sr.; her daughter, Donna Cowgill (Chamberlain), and her son, Jeff Chamberlain. Surviving are her sons, David and Edward "Ted" Chamberlain Jr; her grand-daughter, Amy Cowgill; her grand-son, Dave; her daughter-in-law, Mary (Jeff) Bauer; and very dear family friend, Chris (Donna) Colflesh.

Nancy was born December 23, 1928 to Walter and Jessie (Bartram) Gellette in Bridgeport, CT. She was a valued employee of Traveler's Insurance Company in Columbus and a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, where she formed many life-long friendships. Nancy's passions included reading, gardening, dining out with friends and family, and caring for the ever-present feline members of her household. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends, who will always remember her infectious smile and sense of humor, her incredible perseverance, and her compassion for all of God's creatures.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 15, 2021 from 4pm-8pm at SCHOEDINGER NORTH, 5554 Karl Road, Columbus, OH 43220. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at 10am, also at Schoedinger North. Guests are respectfully asked to wear masks and will be monitored to ensure safety for everyone attending. For those unable to attend, a livestream of the service will be available on this page on Saturday at 10am promptly.
