Myrtle Cook, age 74, of Columbus, died Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Myrtle was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She kept an immaculate home and loved to walk her beloved dogs, Sweet Pea, Little Bit, and Trixie. She is survived by her husband, Archie; children, Debbie, Denice and Freddy (Sharon) Cook; grandchildren, Nicholas and Samantha Cook; siblings, Cora Barger, Bessie Owens, Mary Frances Barrett, and Andy Wilson; many other relatives and friends. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 11, 2012 at Schoedinger Linden Memorial Chapel, 2741 Cleveland Ave., where friends may call from 12 Noon until 2:00 p.m. Friday; interment at Eastlawn Cemetery.
