Mildred Viola Thompson, age 92, passed away Monday, April 19, 2021. She was born on December 25, 1928 in Forsyth, Georgia to the late Willis and Ethel Mae (Willis) Newton.
Mildred will be greatly missed by her children; grandchild; sister; Myrtice Newton Busby; brother, Grady Newton; nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
In addition to her parents, Mildred was preceded in death by her sisters, Willie B. Newton White and Effie Newton Keith; and brother, James Willis Newton.
