Mary Ann Taylor, age 62, passed away at her home on Wednesday, March 15, 2017. She was born and raised in Columbus on May 21, 1954 to the late Robert E. and Elizabeth Quinn Taylor. She is survived by her brothers and sisters: Robert (Gay) Taylor, Tim Taylor, Jim (Deb Bodkin) Taylor, Mark (Lora) Taylor, Lisa Taylor Calderon and Janie Taylor; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; her special cousins, Julie Conley and Ann Parish. She is also preceded in death by her sister in law, Cynthia Taylor. Mary was deeply involved with ARC 14, the Columbus Cancer Thrift Shop in Grove City and the Franklin County Special Olympics. Mary graduated from the Ohio State University and retired from the Ohio Expositions Commission. Mary was a loving person who always enjoyed helping others. She also enjoyed cheering for the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Columbus Blue Jackets. Memorial donations, if desired, are asked to be directed in Mary's memory to the Franklin County Special Olympics or the American Diabetes Association.
Family will receive friends from 5-8pm, Tuesday at Schoedinger Worthington Chapel, 6699 N. High Street in Worthington, where Prayers will be recited at 7pm that evening. Mass of Christian Burial, 10am, Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at Holy Name Roman Catholic Church, 154 E. Patterson Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43202. Father Antonio Carvalho, Celebrant. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
