Mary Lou Stires, 81, of Columbus, died unexpectedly Friday, April 4, 2014. She was born December 5, 1932 in Columbus to the late Edison and Helen (Peglar) Bower. She was a graduate of Central High School and attended The Ohio State University. She was a loving wife and mother who retired from Chase Bank and was an active member of Faith Community Wesleyan Church. Her favorite teams were OSU, Reds and Bengals. She enjoyed camping, word puzzles and bowling. She is survived by Jack her loving husband of 61 years and children David A.(Kimberly A.) and Virginia "Susie" Dorfman, cousin Sally Peglar Mosier and surviving Aglers and all her friends from the Friendship Bowling League. Family will receive friends Tuesday, April 8, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Rd.
