Mary E. Romine

Mary Evelyn Romine, age 82 of Gahanna, passed away Monday, July 23, 2012. Mary was born and raised in Columbus, daughter of the late Earl and Mary Francis. Also preceded in death by her husband, George Romine and siblings, Jim Francis, Betty Myers, and Earline Francis. Mary retired from General Motors after 25 years. Mary was a very friendly outgoing woman who loved her family. She enjoyed gardening, traveling and family get-togethers. She will be greatly missed by her children, Jeanie (Ken) Schillig and Danny (Julia) Romine; grandchildren, Dawn (Jason) Streitenberger, Stephen Sharp, Mark (Dana) Jordan, and Kim (Gary) Crisp; great grandchildren, Nathan Streitenberger and Nick Crisp; sisters, Barb (John) Lewis, Patty (Green) Sexton, and Alberta (George) Glazos; sister-in-law, Dorie Francis; and many other extended family members and dear friends. Memorial service will be held at 2 P.M. Saturday, July 28, 2012 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., where family will receive friends from 1 P.M. until time of service.
