In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of over 40 years George Baker.
Mary Jo is survived by (her kid) Jamie (James) Boss and their children Brady, Logan, and Bailey. Many cousins and relatives in West Virginia, and numerous friends in Central Ohio including her best friend of many years, Laura Bennett.
Mary Jo was a very active member at St. Philip Lutheran Church where she played the organ for over 50 years and was involved in numerous plays with Gahanna Community Theatre. She loved the Ohio State Buckeyes, crocheting, reading, traveling, and playing euchre with her friends.
Mary Jo’s family will receive friends 11-12 p.m. Thursday, May 13, 2021 at St Philip Lutheran Church, 1506 E Long Street Columbus OH, 43203. Where the funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. Thursday following visitation. Interment at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens May 13, 2021at 1:00pm.
