Martha V. “Marty” Winnett-Robbins, age 87, formerly of Columbus, died Saturday, April 3, 2010 at Victorian Oaks, Cambridge, OH, where she had lived for the past 4 years. Martha retired from the former Ohio Bell Company in 1984 after 35 years of service. She was born November 16, 1922 in Vinton County, Ohio, the daughter of the late George W. and Alma Camp Burns. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Henry “Bud” Winnett, in 1985, and Lewis E. Robbins, in 2005; two brothers, Lowell Burns and Virgil Burns; two sisters, Frances Bowen, and Marty’s twin sister, Mary Lupo-Breech. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, James D. and Anne Burns, of Cambridge, and a sister-in-law, Mary Burns of Upper Arlington, along with 5 nieces and 5 nephews. Funeral services will be held 10am Thursday, April 8, 2010 at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Rd., Columbus, where family will receive friends Wednesday from 5-7pm.
