Mark Andrew Larkin

Mark Andrew Larkin, age 58, passed away suddenly on Friday, August 22nd. Mark was preceded in death by his mother, Alice Jones; step-mother, Marty Larkin; and in-laws, Charles and Nancy Gibboney. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Rita (Gibboney) Larkin; son, Ryan (Megan); daughter, Erin Conley (Justin); his son, Patrick (Natalie Damon); father, Curtis; brothers, Christopher (Karen) and Matthew; sisters, Lisa Walker (John) and Amy Lindholm (Eric); sister-in-law, Annie Goodman (Ed); along with nephews, Charles, Justin, Jonathan, Jacob, and niece Rose Ellen. Most cherished in his heart were his grandchildren, Camden and Curran Conley and Ryleigh, Connor and Emma Clare Larkin, with whom he enjoyed many hours of playing with model trains and airplanes and over-indulging them with ice cream. A 1974 graduate of Northland High School, Mark was a 32 year employee and partner at Insurance Agencies of Ohio, the partners and employees of which he cared for deeply. He was a founding member of the Westerville Model Aeronautic Association and heavily involved in coaching and cheering youth sports, both for his children and grandchildren. Mark was a unique and special man. His family and friends will miss him greatly. A Celebration of Life will be held 10:00 A.M., September 9th at St. John Newman Catholic church, 9633 East State Route 37, Sunbury, OH, 43074. Father David Sizemore, Celebrant.
