Margaret A. Snider

Margaret A. (Martin) Snider, 91, peacefully passed Friday, July 8, 2016 surrounded by loving family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, James R. Snider; parents, Sumner and Margaret (Brown) Martin; brothers, Bob and Bill Martin; and sister, Mollie Barnes. She is survived by her four daughters, Sheri (Dave) Ault, Karen (Greg) Ellis, Janet (Mark/deceased) Raynes and Susan Snider; her 11 grandchildren, David (Teri/deceased), JB (Ellen), James (Karen), Jeffrey (Jenna), Katie, Liz, Ashley (Trevor), Kevin, Bryan, Laura and Kyle; great-grandson, Brandon; great-granddaughter, Samantha; her siblings, Dick Martin and Dorothy Courter; along with many loving nieces and nephews. Margie graduated from Logan High School, was previously employed at Elberfelds Department Store, and Ohio Bell Company. She volunteered for the USO during World War II, also for many years at the Franklin County Board of Elections. She and Jim were active members of Saint Anthony Catholic Church in Columbus, Ohio for over 50 years. In honor of Margie's happy, cheerful fun loving personality PLEASE dress in bright beautiful colors to the funeral home and church, Family will receive friends 6-8 PM on Wednesday July 13, 2016 at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Road, Columbus, Ohio 43229 and also at the church at 10 AM for 1 hour prior to mass. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Thursday July 14, 2016 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 1300 Urban Drive, Columbus, Ohio 43224. Graveside service to be held at a later date at Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan, Ohio.
