Marcia Jean Early

Marcia J. Bailey-Early was born in Columbus, Ohio on April 29, 1948. She went to glory at Grant Hospital on Monday, April 22, 2013. Marcia joined Union Baptist-Urbancrest at an early age of ten years old and remained a faithful member until passing. Richard Early and Marcia Bailey were married on June 20, 1980 and she took care of him until his death in 1990. Marcia worked at St. Anthony Hospital (OSU East) for 19 years and at Merck MetCo for several years. Marcia was preceded in death by her parents, William and Eliza Bailey; husband, Richard Early, and brother, Gary V. Bailey. She leaves to mourn: son, David K. Bailey; step-daughter, Tiffany Early and her 3 children; brothers, William (Eva) and Stephen (Cynthia) of Columbus, Ohio; sisters, Christine Bailey, Urbancrest, Ohio, Phyllis (Lorenzo) Jackson, Ilester Bailey, Vanessa Goldstein of Columbus, Ohio; sister-in-law, Harriett Bailey of London, Ohio; uncle, Wallace (Ozella) Bailey and aunt, Gertrude Roberts of Moultrie, GA; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins (Gills, Magwood, Artis, Morgan, Galloway and Davis) including Edna Pace and friends; and special friends, Ruby Leigh, Melvina Mensy and Annette Walker. Friends may visit 9-10 AM Saturday, April 27, 2013 at the Union Baptist Church, 3452 First Ave., Urbancrest, OH 43123 where funeral service will follow at 10 AM with Rev. E.
