Mamie D. Gilliam

Mamie Dyer Gilliam, age 89, of Columbus, passed away, Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at her home. She was born September 22, 1932 in Morgan County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Nervel M. and Marie (Keaton) Dyer. Mamie retired from Western Electric after over 25 years of service. She will be dearly missed by her family; children, Stephen Gilliam and Diana Hartley; grandchildren, Nicholas Gilliam, William Gilliam, Carmen Trippier and Natalie Dickey, Christina Mitchell and Jamie Miller; seven great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter Brenda Mitchell, son Greg Gilliam sisters, Lucy Dingess and Myrtle Potter and brother Tom (aka Dude) Dyer.
