Mable Allen

Mable Allen, age 82, of Columbus, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 14, 2021. She was born in Lee County, Virginia on January 22, 1938 to the late Will and Christina Allen. She was a graduate of Liberty High School in Williamson, West Virginia where she was Head Majorette and a cheerleader. Mable was an amazing mother, grandmother, and friend. She was loved by all who were blessed to know her. She was a very good cook and loved making meals for her family and friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her siblings, Clifford Allen, Ethel Howard, Elmer Allen, Archie Allen, and Dorothy Allen. Mable is survived by her children, Charles Allen, Moira (Clyde) Littlefield, Gwendolyn Allen, and Phillip Allen; sister, Fleeter Armstead; sister in-law, Val Allen aunt, Jessie Nichols; special friends, Norma Jean Bates, Jackie Hodge, Sandra Hooker, Bonnie Cheathum, and Phyllis Fous; 16 grandchildren; and a host of great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Family will receive friends on Thursday, January 21, 2021 from 10:00AM-11:00AM followed by a private funeral service for family at 11:00AM. Bishop Scott Howard and Bishop Margaret A.
