Lynn Delee Christian

Lynn Delee Christian, age 52, of Dublin, passed away Sunday, July 5, 2015 at Riverside Methodist Hospital with her family by her side. She was born June 1, 1963 in Lima, Ohio. Lynn was raised in Columbus Grove, Ohio and graduated from Columbus Grove High School in 1981. She began as a systems analyst with Central Benefits with over 15 years of service and the past fifteen years was with United Health Care. A devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister and aunt, Lynn never met a stranger. She will be dearly missed by her husband of 14 years, Jim; children, Mac and Carlee all of Dublin; step-daughter, Christa Christian, Austin, TX; mother Jo (Miller) Allen, Naples, FL; father, Gary M. (Sharon K.) Allen, Leesburg, FL; sister, Susan (Dale) Mathew, Kalida, OH; brothers, Todd (Lori) Allen, Continental, OH and John (Gina) Allen, Bozeman, MT; nieces and nephews, Dane (Stephanie), Taylor (Mallory), Amy (Joe), Joshua (Heather), Andrea (Kurt), Sean (Kelsey), Nicole and Sophie; numerous step-brothers and step-sisters, great nieces, great nephews and many friends. Lynn was a graduate of Bowling Green State University in 1985 with a Bachelor's degree in Statistics. She was very athletic and played with several teams in softball and volleyball, and was an avid golfer. Lynn was a volunteer and past treasurer of the Central Ohio Families with Children from China. She also had an active part in her children's school activities, fundraising and volunteering with Sells Middle School track team and Girl Scouts. Lynn attended Meadow Park Church of God and helped as a volunteer with the Monahan Neighborhood Association in Dublin. She was passionate about her family, especially her children, loved life and was a fighter, but never a complainer. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 pm Friday at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N. High Street, (1/2 mile South of I-270). A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, July 11, 2015 at Meadow Park Church of God, 2425 Bethel Road, Columbus, OH.
