Lynda Marie (Horgan) Dew

Lynda was a lifelong resident of the west side of Columbus. She attended Holy Family Catholic School (class of 1964). She worked for 16 years at Columbia Gas of Ohio where she met her husband Dennis. Dennis and Lynda married on 6/1/1974 and have been together ever since. A proud Irish-Catholic mother, Lynda spent much of her adult life helping care for many children in her community. Lynda was deeply devoted to her faith which helped guide her throughout her life. There is not a person who spent time with her that did not love her and understand that she was the greatest wife, mother and care-giver we could have ever hoped for. She is survived by her husband Dennis, grandson Kasen and three children, Molly, Shannon and Ryan as well as brothers, Mike (Janet) and Pat, sisters, Mary Chaney (Tom) and Peggy Dado (Larry) and many nieces and nephews. With heavy hearts we bid adieu to a special lady who will always be in our thoughts and prayers.

"May the road rise up to meet you, may the wind be ever at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face and the rain fall softly on your fields. And until we meet again, May God hold you in the hollow of his hand."

Lynda's wake will be held 2-4 and 6-8 pm Thursday, June 25, 2015 at the SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL 3030 W. Broad Street, Columbus, OH. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 am Friday, June 26, 2015 at St. Mary Magdalene Church, 473 S. Roys Avenue, Columbus, OH 43204.
