Lora Mae Pearce

Lora Mae Pearce, 85, formerly of Johnstown, Ohio, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2021 at Countryview of Sunbury. Born October 7, 1935 in Columbus, Ohio, she married Jerry Pearce at the age of 18 and enjoyed 62 wonderful years together. Lora was a homemaker extraordinaire, blessing her family with her talents of cooking, sewing, crocheting, writing poetry and gardening, as well as instilling a love of nature in her children. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry and sons, Gregory and Jeffrey. Lora is survived by her children Lisa (Doug), Diana and David (Robin); daughter-in-law Kathy; brother Lynn (Patricia) Tietz; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; brother-in-law Ray Pearce; sister-in-law Carolyn Anelick; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Lora's family will receive friends from 12-1pm Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at Schoedinger Northeast, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd. Gahanna, OH 43230. Due to Covid restrictions, a 1pm service will be limited to family only, but will be webcast on Lora's tribute page at www.schoedinger.com.
