Lois Denise (Cossin) Souders, age 63, passed away peacefully in the care of her husband at home on Sunday, August 20, 2023. Denise was born in Columbus, Ohio on July 16, 1960 to James E. and Marilyn L. Cossin. She retired from Dublin Retirement Village and was a member of Hillview Freewill Baptist Church. Denise enjoyed cooking and traveling to 47 of 50 states with her husband, John. Preceded in death by her father, James E. Cossin. Survived by her husband of 22 years, John H. Souders; mother, Marilyn (Ernest) Lavey; daughter, Brandy Griffith; step-children, John W. and Valarie L. Souders; brother, David (Robin) Grimm; other family and friends. A memorial gathering to honor Denise’s life will be held on Friday, August 25, 2023 from 6-8:00 pm at Hillview Freewill Baptist Church, 9005 E. Main Street, Reynoldsburg, Ohio 43068.
