Lois M. Shaner, age 88, passed away on Friday, January 12, 2024 at home with her family by her side. Lois was born on July 11, 1935 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Charles and Selma (Offenburger) Miller. Lois worked for Consolidated Freightways before her retirement. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church, Boys and Girls Club, Deaf Society and Senior Center. Lois was proficient in sign language, enjoyed arts and crafts, loved nature and gardening. She was very active and traveled all over with groups, family and friends. Preceded in death by her parents; sister, Jane (James) Feasel; nephew, Douglas Feasel; and niece, Tracey Feasel. Survived by her nephew, Terry (Samantha) Feasel; and many great and great great nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 11-1:30 pm on Friday, January 19, 2024 at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services by Schoedinger Hilltop, 3030 W. Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43204 where service will be held at 1:30 pm with Pastor Tim Lee officiating. Interment Sunset Cemetery.
