Linda D. Gillispie, age 52, embarked on a final shopping trip with an unlimited budget to her heavenly store on April 2, 2025. Born in Columbus, Ohio, on December 23, 1972, to Alvin and Barbara Gillispie, Linda was known for her love of shopping, spending time with her grandson, and keeping her vehicle spotless—a source of frequent debate over whether it was a truck or an SUV. She was also a devoted cook, often spending hours preparing meals for her family. Some of her favorites to make included macaroni and cheese, green bean casserole, salads, and her cherished cheese pizza. Linda was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Johnny and David; and grandson, Hayden. She is survived by her loving companion of 22 years, Robert Huffman; daughters, Nicole Gillispie (Devon) and Alisha Gillispie; grandchildren, Wyatt, Malikhi, Annmarie, and Kayden; sister, Angel Dalton; brother, Steve Gillispie; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. A private inurnment will take place at a later date at Sunset Cemetery in Galloway, Ohio. Memorial donations can be made to the funeral home to support the family.
