Linda L Duckworth

Linda L. Duckworth, age 64, of Columbus, died Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Mt. Carmel Medical Center. She was born August 3, 1953 in Fairmont, WV and was a 1971 graduate of Fairmont Sr. High School. Linda retired from Columbus Public Schools after over 10 years of service. A devoted mother and grandmother, she is survived by her son, Richard W. Duckworth; daughter-in-law, Lori Duckworth; grandchildren, Amelia, Macey, Vivian, Aidan and Caleb. Also by sister, Sharon Nottingham and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Vada Moore; husband, Richard Lee Duckworth and son, David Lee Duckworth. She loved all animals, especially dogs. Family was her first priority and she loved family gatherings and decorating her home for the holidays. Funeral Service will be held 1:00 pm Friday, November 24, 2017 at the HOPE and HEART FUNERAL HOME by SCHOEDINGER, 3030 W. Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio, where family and friends may call from 12:00 noon Friday until time of service. Interment to follow Glen Rest Memorial Estates.
