Lester Lee Cline

Lester Lee Cline, 74, of Columbus, Ohio passed away August 5, 2023, surrounded by his daughters. He was born June 15, 1949 in Steubenville, Ohio, the first son of the late Ray and Margaret (Gardner) Cline. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Kimberly (Weisheimer) Cline and by his brother, Matthew Cline. He is survived by his daughters Meredith (Jeremy) Erb, Allison (Max) Hanna, and Rhonda (Kevin) Mohr and by his grandchildren, Henry and Ellie Erb and Harper Hanna.

Lester was a loving father and grandpap. He was a 1975 graduate of The Ohio State University and a former Brutus Buckeye mascot. He was the self-proclaimed “Junk Food King” of the Rhodes Office Tower and enjoyed his many customers there for over 20 years. He loved traveling, model trains, photography, attending OSU football games, botanical gardens and horticulture.

Family and friends will be received at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST at 1740 Zollinger Rd, Columbus, Ohio for visitation on Sunday 8/13 from 2-4pm, where services will be held on Monday 8/14 at 1pm, Pastor Joel Baer officiating. Interment will follow directly at Union Cemetery.
