Leroy F. Conant

Leroy F. Conant, age, 70, of Galloway, passed away peacefully at Dr’s West Hospital on November 23, 2010. He is preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Linda L. Conant; daughter, Evelyn Rigsby. Leroy retired after 35 years of service at Port Columbus Airport Authority and was an employee of Southwestern City Schools. He was a member of the Southeast Conservation Club, and an avid flea market specialist. Leroy was also sports minded and liked the Ohio State Buckeyes, was involved in many bowling leagues over the years and also a member of many softball teams. He is survived by his son; Leroy Conant Jr (Judy Rogers); daughter, Judy (Danny) Bovie; granddaughters, Heather, Jennifer and Shelby; grandsons, Nicholas and Michael; great-granddaughter, Stephanie; sisters, Eva (Frank) Stanley, Violet Conant; brother, Jimmy Conant; brother-in-law, Jim Wamsley; sister-in-law, Pamela (Brian) Aliff, and special friend Vince Cantley along with several nieces, nephews and many friends. Leroy was a friend to all and will be missed by all. Visitation will be held on Friday November 26, 2010 at the SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL 3920 Broadway from 2-4 and 6-8pm. Funeral service will be held on Saturday November 27, 2010 at 9:30am at the Funeral Home. Andrew Hoover, Funeral Celebrant officiating. Interment will be at Grove City Cemetery.
