Lauren Marie Ashley

Lauren Ashley, age 22, passed away Monday, November 21, 2016 at home. She was born June 13, 1994 in Honolulu, HI to David and Diane (Crissman) Ashley and is also survived by her sister, Brooke; grandparents, Kenneth and Janice Crissman and Janice Ashley; aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Lauren was preceded in death by her grandfather, Charlie Ashley. For several years, Lauren has been an active volunteer at Nationwide Children's Hospital. She developed a strong faith from her involvement in Chrysalis and participation in two Mexican Mission Trips. Through Make A Wish Foundation, Lauren met Bethany Hamilton who inspired her with a life verse: Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." A Memorial Service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, November 26, 2016 with a visitation from 9 - 10 a.m. prior to the service at Stonybrook United Methodist Church 485 Cherry Bottom Road, Gahanna conducted by Robert L. Thomas, Pastor.
