Kevin Harold Brown

After a valiant battle with an aggressive cancer, Kevin Harold Brown returned home to the Lord on Sunday, July 14th, 2024 surrounded by his family. He was born in Columbus on April 27th, 1960 to the late Harold and Louise Brown. He was the youngest and only son of five siblings.

Kevin leaves behind a legacy of love, his beloved and devoted wife of forty years, Yolaunda Brown; three amazing children, Ashley (Matt) Schmidt, Clinton (Sara) Brown, and Brittney Brown; four fabulous grandchildren, Aiden & Addison Schmidt, and Booker & Sebastian Brown; including siblings, nieces, nephews, and countless friends.

Kevin was a soft spoken, patient, and kind- hearted man with an adventurous streak. He loved all things motorcycles, bicycles, and dirt bikes. He was most happy when he was out cruising the country roads or riding on the dirt bike trails. If he wasn’t riding bikes, he could usually be found outside walking the dogs, or cheering on the 49ers and Buckeyes.

Kevin will be deeply missed by all who knew him. A Celebration of Life Service is being held at Sharon Woods Church, 5959 Sharon Woods Boulevard in Columbus on July 30th. There will be calling hours from 11am to 1pm and the service will begin at 1pm with a catered reception to follow.
