Dr. Justin Allen Baker, 42, of Dublin, passed away peacefully in the arms of his loving wife on Friday, December 24, 2021, with his parents and children by his side. He was born in Greenville on February 26, 1979, to James and Marianne Baker.
Justin pursued his Bachelor of Arts at The State University of New York at Buffalo, where he subsequently went on to Graduate school, completing his Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 2011. Following these accomplishments, he moved to Columbus, Ohio, where he not only completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgical residency, but also met the love of his life, Andria Jennifer Baker (Minuck). Post residency, Justin and Jennifer relocated to Fairfax Virginia where he would continue on to become a Diplomat of The American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Jennifer and Justin spent 10 years together, nearly 6 married, and almost immediately began raising their two children, Annabelle and Jamison, both of whom already deeply miss his presence in their lives. Also surviving him are his parents, James Allen Baker and Marianne Arney Baker; brother, Shaun Baker (Holly); along with many other relatives, friends, and colleagues who had the absolute pleasure of knowing Justin. Especially his lifelong friend and closest cousin, Megan Marie Baker, of Kettering.
Justin was known to be quite the conversationalist. Friends and family always enjoyed his witty and pragmatic talks. It was his uncanny sense of humor, however, that always had people coming back. He was an avid boater, growing up and enjoying his summers at The Buffalo Launch Club in Grand Island, NY. He was a food and wine connoisseur. He loved all genres of music. He enjoyed performing philanthropic surgery, losing fishing competitions to his wife, reading and viewing the works of George R.R Martin, cheering on The Buffalo Bills or The Ohio State Buckeye football teams, and playing with all dogs. But without a doubt, what he loved most in life, were his beloved children.
He was preceded in death by Maternal Grandparents Kenneth Ray Arney and Helen Kloster Arney; along with Paternal Grandparents Robert Clyde Baker and Mary Anne Allen Baker. Lastly, Justin was also preceded in death by his best canine friend, Roxy, who forever held a very special place in his heart.
A Memorial Service to honor Justin will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2022, at 11:00am, at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 4456 Morse Rd., Pastor Steve Brown officiating. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Justin's name to Alex's Sunnyside Playroom.
Cremation arrangements entrusted to SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST.
