Joyce Eloise Reid

Joyce Eloise Reid, age 90, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 19, 1926 in Cresap, WV to the late Edward and Gladys (Schafer) Saultz. Joyce was a devoted member of the Church of Christ and a beloved wife, mother, sister, and sweet grandma to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved baking, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends. In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, William E. Reid; brothers, William Saultz and Robert Saultz. She is survived by her sister, Kathleen Albright; children, Dan Reid, Debbie (Tom) Long, Craig Reid, and Jill Logan; grandchildren, Doug (Libby) Long, Jenn Long, Travis Logan, Courtney (Bobby) Krafft, and Tiffany Logan; great-grandchildren, Addison and Cooper Krafft and Keelin Logan; many nieces, nephews and extended family members. Family will receive friends 5-8 pm Friday at Schoedinger East Chapel, 5360 E. Livingston Ave. Funeral service will be held 10 am Saturday, July 2, 2016 at Laurel Canyon Church of Christ, 409 McNaughten Rd. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
