John C Patterson

John C. "Jack" Patterson, 78, of Grove City, died Friday, June 12, 2015 at home. He was born December 30, 1936 in Uniontown, PA to the late William and Erma (Hoffman) Patterson. He was a member of Cherry Creek Church of Christ and the Plain City Lions Club. Jack loved the Lord, never met a stranger and adored spending time with his family. He was a history buff and enjoyed trap shooting and building model airplanes. Jack is survived by Sharon his loving wife of 25 years, children, Brenda (John) Long, Cindy (David) Lanum, Mary Ann (Scott) Roeder, Shelley (Rick) Gibson and Jeff (Sherry) Renner, grandchildren, Kevin (Amber), Kelly (Erik), Sarah, Katie, Jaclyn (Trey), Renner, Kip and Tyler, great grandchildren, Jevin, Jaydin, Jacob, Leah, Jonathan, Jonah, Julian, Audrey and Izabella, sister Nancy (Don) Hughes and family. Family will receive friends from 5-8 PM Monday, June15, 2015 at SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway where a funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Forest Grove Cemetery, Plain City. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the National Parkinsons Foundation or Mount Carmel Hospice.
