John J. (Jack) Krimm passed away on Monday, April 7, 2025. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Irma. The son of the late Walter and Helen Krimm. He is survived by his loving children, Maureen (John) McEwen, Kristina Krimm, John (Ann) Krimm, Jr., Joanne Krimm, Paul (Debbie) Krimm, and Michael Krimm; eight grandchildren Katie (Gage) Tolar, Elizabeth (Ryan Swock) McEwen, Gus (Regan) Krimm, Hannah Krimm, Gabriel (Tiffany) Krimm, and Noah (Tina) Krimm, Benjamin Krimm, and Ella Krimm, and seven great-grandchildren. Also, his beloved sister, Sr. Walter Helene, SSJ.
Jack was a proud alumnus of Villanova University, served as an officer in the United States Navy, and worked professionally as a mechanical engineer in a variety of industries. He was a man of deep faith, and was an active member of St. Margaret of Cortona Church, serving for many years as a Lector, and was a former member of St. Brendan the Navigator Church. Jack was a member of the Board of Trustees of North Central Mental Health Services for several years. In his younger days, he was involved in coaching youth sports. He enjoyed a cold beer and a good cigar, and loved to share WSJ “clippings” with his children and anyone else he thought might find them interesting and informative. Above all, Jack’s greatest joy and purpose in life was being a devoted husband and father.
Family will receive friends at Schoedinger Northwest Chapel, 1740 Zollinger Rd., Upper Arlington, OH on Monday, April 21, 2025, from 4-7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Margaret of Cortona Church, 1600 North Hague Ave. Columbus, OH. at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 with interment to follow at Union Cemetery.
