John D. Jenkins

John D. Jenkins JR., age 69, of Columbus, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 1, 2014. He was born on February 1, 1945. John was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witness in 1975 and was serving as an Elder in the Hilliard Congregation. He dedicated 51 years to BBCM/S&ME as a laboratory manager.

He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Joyce; children. John Jenkins III, Melinda (Chuck) Longbrake, Lisa Hoops; granddaughters, Brooke, Lauren, Kailey, Rachel, and Nicole; great-granddaughter, Madeline; sister, Jerry (John) Riemenschneider; brothers, Walter (Linda) Jenkins, Dave (Nancy) Jenkins, Dan Jenkins, and Terry (Sherry) Jeffers; brothers-in-law, Tom (Jan) Howell of AZ and Jim (Pam) Howell of MD; many nieces, nephews, extended family and spiritual brothers and sisters. Friends may call on Friday, February 7, 2014 from 2-4 pm & 6-8 pm at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N High Street, Worthington, OH 43085. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, February 10, 2014 at 7 pm at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 3333 Main St., Hilliard, OH 43026.
