Johnny and my son John were best friends since we lived on Woodhill Drive in Grandview Heights, back in the mid-to late 60s. They remained close for these many years!! I felt a closeness to Johnny and his family and my son as I watched the “Tribute Video “ and remembered how important it is to have such good friends and to nurture those friendships!! My deepest condolences to Johnny’s family and friends!!!

John was amazing guy. I got to know him at Trinity working with my clients as helped them in the process of purchasing a new construction home. He was kind person and down to earth. We always talked about football, golf  and retirement. The whole community in Avondale Woods misses him greatly and I wanted to give my condolences to his family and friends and all the people he touched over the years.

John Brannon was such a great guy who always had a smile on his face. He was one of my childhood friends and I remember that he and D. J. would often come to my house to play basketball. Although we didn’t stay in touch in recent years, my mom, Lynda Cardwell kept me up-to-date with John and his lovely family. My mom was always taking photos and I found these in my wedding album from 1992. John will be deeply missed and we are so sorry for his family’s loss.

Carla, so sorry to hear of your husband's passing.  Take care.

My prayers are with the Branon family. I went to 12 years of school with John. We connected with each other at Nationwide Insurance while he was a contractor on a project.  I had the pleasure of being the photographer for John and Carla's wedding.

I am glad to have known John and pray that the Lord Jesus' gift of forgiveness is covering him now.

My son John and Johnny Brannon were best friends since kindergarten.  Although they grew up far apart they kept in touch throughout the years and always treasured their friendship.  Johnny was a loving and faithful friend and he will be greatly missed by the entire Yurko family.  “Good night, sweet prince.  And flights of angels send thee to thy rest”

Please accept my condolences for your loss and may God bless you and your family during this difficult time.  I remember John as always being an all around great guy and especially being a supporter of DJ during his time on the courts, ballfields and golf courses.  I also remember him during his umpiring days growing up playing baseball in Grandview.  Being a pitcher then, I appreciated John umpiring and knew he would call a fair game.  Thanks John for that memory!

May your most happy and loving memories help you feel his spirit is and will always be with you.

My deepest condolences to the entire Brannon family.  I have such great memories of John from high school and college.  From hanging out on Palmer Road or playing poker games with just about every card wild when John dealt, to when we were roommates on Chittenden Ave at OSU, John was a great guy and a true friend who I will miss.  May peace be with you.

My condolences go out to his entire family. John always greeted you with a smile and made your day better when you saw him. Our class reunions will not be the same without him. He will be missed.
